(a) A neutral organic compound 'A' (molecular formula $\ce{C2H6O}$) reacts with acidified $\ce{K2Cr2O7}$ and on oxidation gives an acidic compound 'B'. Compound 'A' reacts with compound 'B' on warming, in the presence of concentrated $\ce{H2SO4}$ to give a sweet smelling substance 'C'. What are A, B and C ? Also write their structures.
