$\bullet$ Fuse - It is used to protect the appliances from overloading (Short
circuiting). (1)
$\bullet$ Green colour wire – Earth wire – Provides a low resistance
conducting path for current to flow to the earth, if there is any
leakage of current to metallic body of appliance, hence prevents
from electric shock. (1)
$\bullet$ Fuse will not be able to protect the circuit during overloading (1)
